Creativity returns at last

After a very extended hiatus, I'm finally feeling well enough to get back to quilty pursuits.

The new prompt for BRAMBLE BLOOMS was published a couple of weeks ago: we are to add a border with repeating applique motifs and quarter-triangle cornerstones. I've been stewing on this ever since, all the while coughing and wheezing. I finally put my hands on some fabric possibilities and will proceed slowly.  It doesn't look like anything yet but I do have an idea that I hope will manifest itself!
